Rave Revues!

Amanda just finished her first "year" of dance. She took ballet and tap. She had practice every Tuesday and worked very hard to learn her dances! She had a dress rehersal last Wed. and then Friday was her big night! The Revue was held at the Browning Center @ Weber State. Amanda's group did two dances. Thier ballet dance was called "Tantrum". They got to throw a tantrum in their dance. They were laying on the floor shaking their heads, kicking their feet and banging the floor with their hands. It was really cute!

Her tap dance was to "Singin' in the Shower". They wore towels and shower caps. They also held a shower head that they used as a microphone. It was very cute!

We stayed and watched the whole show and it was great! They did a whole "Hairspray" production at the end that was fabulous! I have been really impressed with this stuido. While this was Amanda's first experience with dance, it was also her last. She is done and wants to play soccer instead. What can I say? She's her mama's girl!! She did say that all the hard work was worth the pink roses that her Daddy gave to her! We were very proud of her!

A star for a night!

Amanda's "Singin' in the Shower" costume. I couldn't get her to smile because she still wasn't sold on the whole shower cap idea!?!

After we got home Amanda went and got in our bed. I went up a few minutes later and she was OUT! She's all snuggled up with her best friend, Sniffy!

If I can figure out how to put the video of her dances on here I will. Does anyone know how to do that?
