Heather was finally taken to surgery on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. They put a rod in her leg and pins and screws in her arm. They were not able to get on top of the pain until Wed. She was told she could go home on Friday but an xray Wed. morning told them that she still has a leak in her lung and they will not be able to remove the chest tube and let her go home until atleast Sat., her wedding day.
Heather and Corey have decided to postpone the wedding. Heather said the clincher was realizing that she wouldn't be able to dance with her Dad or Corey if they went ahead with the plans. I think she will be happy with her decision.
She is in good spirits and putting on a brave face. Corey is a sweetheart and has been at her side nearly 24/7. They are such good, kind, responsible, caring kids. We all love them so much!

Oh my gosh this just breaks my heart! I am glad she is doing better.
That is so sad that this happened to her. Good to hear things are getting better though. Tell her to keep her chin up. She's got tons of support from the family I'm sure.
