Friday Joe was taking the boys to Scout-O-Rama so I decided to have a Girl's Night Out with Amanda. She was so excited when I told her! We left at 6:00 and went shopping at Justice. It is a cute store that only carries clothes for little girls. Amanda was in 7th heaven. She tried on a few things and finally settled on a cute pink dress and flip-flops that are silver with rhinestones on them. I was a little frustrated with that store because EVERYTHING was sleevless or tank top style. UUGH!
After that we went to the mall and had dinner at Chick-Fil-A. We were going to go see the new Narnia movie but she decided she would rather get some new Hannah Monatan make-up. So we stopped at Walmart on our way home.
We returned home around 9:00 and Amanda jumped in my bed and informed me that she would be sleeping with me. She said she wanted to watch High School Musical if it was on. I turned on the t.v. and guess what was just starting...HSM! I looked at her and asked, "How did you know this would be on?" She answered, "It's on every night Mom!" DUH!! So we watched it and had popcorn. It was a fun night! What a girl!
The next morning at 11:00 we went to find the boys at Scout-O-Rama becasue Noah had a soccer game at 12:45 that I hadn't discussed with Joe and his cell phone was dead. We finally found them and were talked into staying. We rode on the lake in the canoes, went on a Leave No Trace hike, walked on a monkey bridge, rode bicycles, tasted some yummy dutch oven peach cobbler and lots of other stuff!! They gave everyone one big patch for coming and then we were given a little patch to go under it at each station that we completed. It was cool. Noah was able to pass of 1 requirement, 14 electives and 2 belt loops. Noah enjoyed being with the big boys now that he is in scouts. They slept overnight on a tarp under the stars. The weather was perfect! Lukas was also able to pass off a buch of things for his Tenderfoot! I am thankful my boys have such a great Dad who will take them to these things and be so excited about it!
We went home and cleaned up a bit and then Grandma made the mistake of telling the kids that their pool was open. So we went there at around 5:30 and they all took the first Polar Plunge of the season. The water was only 54 degrees! They would jump in and then come up gasping for breath. Joe even joined in the fun. I said, "NO THANX!" It was a fun day together!

I agree, I'm glad you have such a "wonderful, handsome, fun-loving, sexy, intelligent, talented, caring, spiritual, 'skilled' and thoughtful husband" too. (I might have paraphrased what you said, I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was something like that.)
What a fun Friday and Saturday!!! It sounds like a perfect weekend
