For a long time now I have been wanting to learn how to do digital scrapbooking. I didn't even really understand the whole concept and definatley didn't have any idea where to even begin. About a year ago my visiting teacher, Sister Phyllis White told me that her daughter did digi scrapbooking. But the timing wasn't right and for whatever reason we never hooked up. Well, now the time is right. I was talking to her again and mentioned that I still wanted to learn how and she told me to go to Susie's blog and send her a message. So I did. Last Friday I spent three hours being taught by Master Yoda. My brain felt like a big sponge trying to absorb and soak in every keystoke, mouse click and verbal as well as written instructions!! I think I absorbed it all it's just that my 'download' function isn't all that great! I couldn't wait to get home and try it out for myself! By Sunday morning I had created my first two pages and it didn't require dragging out one bit of scrapbook paper, stamps, pads, eyelets, hole punches, pictures, scissors, paper cutter, ribbon, glue, glue dots, double-sided tape, chip board, stickers, hammer...I think you get the idea.
Although I am still in the "Aniken" stage I am soooooo excited about learning something new! I don't think I could ever give up the paper scrapping 100%. I still enjoy doing cards for my card exchange and other crafts, but as far as scrapbooking, I'm sold!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Master Yoda(Susie)!! She is amazing!! You have to check out her incredible work on her blog. (there is a link to it on the right side under 'my peeps') I can't wait to learn more!! Here are my fist two attempts at digi scrapping! Enjoy!!
