One year older and wiser too.....

Yesterday was my birthday and I just wanted to thank everyone who called or sent me messages! It made my day! I had a great day. It started out at the gym with Robyn. Sweat, sweat, sweat! As I pulled in the garage at around 7:30 Amanda came running out the door in her nightgown and bare feet yelling, "Happy Birthday Mom!" I think it was negative 4 degrees or something. Crazy girl! I entered the house to all the boys running to tell me Happy Birthday and give me hugs. About every 1 or 2 minutes Lukas would say, "Happy Birthday Mom" until he left for school. This also continued after school as well:)

Mom was the first to call (as tradition has it) and sing. We had to be at the school at 10:00 to register Joshua for Jr. High. YIKES!! I can't believe we are doing that already!?! After that I went to Salt Lake with Mom, we went to lunch at Olive Garden and ran some other errands before returning home around 5:00. It was nice to spend the day together.

I came home and rested for a while before my soccer game at 7:15. It was a good game. We won 11-6. During the game they made an announcement overhead that it was my birthday. No one has confessed to that yet. It was alot of fun and we played really great as a team!

After the game I rode home with Robyn because we had to be at the church at 9:00 pm for basketball practice. She got her kids to bed and we were about to leave and then Kassidy threw up in her bed. She had been sick for 2 days already. Needless to say she had to stay behind while I went to bb. We had a good practice. There was another ward there to play against. Once they started the game I sat out because my ankle was feeling a little tired after a long day.

All in all it was a great day! Before my soccer game I found out that Lukas had ordered me flowers. It was his idea and he payed for them. All Joe did was dial the number and hand him the phone. He told them what he wanted and what he wanted the card to say and everything! It says: "You're the best mother in the world!! I love you, Lukas" How did I get so lucky? He is such a kind and thoughtful young man! The flowers were finally delivered today. He was happy to see them here when he got home from school! Thanx Lukey!

Today Joe took me to lunch at Cafe Rio and went shopping for Bunco gifts at Tia Pan Trading with me. Now I need to continue getting ready for my Lia Sophia open house that is tomorrow. I hope people come!?! Thanx for a great b-day everyone!
