Last Sunday I had to go to the church early to take care of some V.T. stuff. It was about 12:45 (church starts @ 1:00) and I was in the library. One of the counselors of our Bishopic came in and asked, "Well is Josh all ready?" "Ready for what?", I inquired. "That's real funny!", he responded. "I really have no idea what you're talking about", I informed him. "Josh is one of the Youth Speakers in sacrament meeting today". I rack my brain for any recollection of this information....NOPE! So I hurry to the phone, call Joe and pass the great news on to him! Josh forgot!
Joe and the kids were about 5 min. late for sacrament meeting and Josh takes his place on the stand. Joe sat down next to me and just shrugged his shoulders. Josh's talk was on Repentence. I was holding my breath for the first couple of minutes but then relaxed as he did an awesome job! I was amazed that he did such a great job on such short notice! He gets that from Joe!
After he was done and sat down Lukas leaned over to me, patted my arm and said, "You raised him well."
