Lastnight we were invited to my oldest brothers new house for dinner. His name is Lindsay and his wife is Kay. They have spent the last year and a half building their home in Thatcher while living in their fith-wheel the whole time. Alot of hard work and sacrifice and now they have a BEAUTIFUL home to show for it! I had made a "HENDERSON" sign for him before he met Kay that had his and Ryan and Heather's name on it. It needed to be updated so I did them a new one since they were married and finished their house in 2007. I'm glad they liked it!
Dinner was yummy and the company was fun. All who came were Grandma, Aunt Lynda, Aunt Susan, Mom & Dad, Kort & Glenda & kids. We had turkey, my yummy potatoes, Susan's raspberry jell-o salad, Lynda's rolls, steamed veggies, stuffing, etc. It was like Thanxgiving all over again! My favorite holiday! While some watched a football game others of us played our new 6 Nnmt game that Kevin & Robyn introduced us to. Congratulations to Corbin for getting the new high score record for one hand...45!!! (The object of the game is to get the least amount of points:) Aunt Susan even joined in the game! Everyone voted it the funnest game they've played in a long time!
It was a great evening and something we need to do more often! Lindsay is 10 yrs. older than me and we have different lives. I think that if we weren't in the same family our paths probably never would have crossed in this lifetime. Therefore, I am very thankful that we were given to the same family so that not only would we know each other, we are related! Lindsay is a good man with a very big heart! I know that I could call on him (or any of my brothers for that matter) any time day or night and he would be there for me! He has experienced alot of heartache and disappointment in this life so it thrills me to see him so content and happy! You deserve it bro! Love ya!
Need a sign? I do make customs signs to order. They are fun to give as wedding presents. I can do about any color combination. The black with white lettering is my personal favorite! I charge $30. Chow for now!
